It's hard to tell from such a small photo. Also, seeing a bloom spike will help ID these better. Pups will eventually bloom. If you want to separate them, you can cut the pups off with clippers close to the stem of the mother (I usually pull them up and break them off by hand). The pups should be 1/2 to 2/3rds size of the mother plant though. Plant them in a loose mix of fine bark, perlite, and peat. I often use a fast-draining planting mix with a handfull of perlite thrown in.

Just a guess at the ID from your photo,but I think they are a fairly common brom by name of Billbergia pyramidalis,which are in many Florida home gardens.Easy to grow and reproduce rapidly.Philofan's advice is 'on the money'. Or you can cut off the bloomed mother plant,and leave the pup group as is,and they will fill in the space,and/or you can relocate the whole plant,roots,soil,and all, wherever you prefer to have it.

I live in Central Florida and, if your broms are Bill. pyramidalis, you can grow them right in the sandy soil as long as it is not a wet area. I have hundreds of these plants throughout my garden.
