Will Mourning Cloaks nectar on dilute honey?

I had a jar of honey that had dried out; I tried to rehydrate it by adding water, but used too much and now have some "honeywater" that's too dilute for personal use.

This misadventure coincides with the emergence of Mourning Cloaks from their hiding places here in Wisconsin. They are cruising our woods margin, presumably looking for tree sap to nectar on.

I wonder if they would nectar on the "honey water" if I put some in the yard - or will I just be feeding the yellow jackets, ants, and other early-emerging insects?
