Nice plants, I haven't seen any of these other than the H limifolia, which ID is correct. Good to see such fast draining mix for them, should be good.

One caution, they seem planted a bit too deeply. I'd pull them up a bit to get the whole division/rosette out of the mix, otherwise the bottom of those leaves will likely get wet & become vulnerable to rot.

The 1st looks like an intergeneric, xGasteraloe, with Haworthia minima or H. pumila as a parent.

2nd, I agree with you & Karen, Haworthia limifolia v. limifolia (adding the variety).

3rd, Looks like Aloe aristata to me (long tendrils at the leaf tips-some may have broken off). It could also be an xGasteraloe popular in the trade that most have trouble naming (Aloe aristata is one parent). Flowers will help you pin down the ID.

4th, seems to be either Haworthia pumila or Haworthia minima. Blooms would also help identify if it is indeed a Haworthia & not an intergeneric.

Where do you buy your plants in Malaysia? From a nursery or other?

I buy my plants from various nurseries. Surprisingly, the most successful (and largest) cacti nurseries can be found in our highlands; the renown Cameron Highlands, which is tea country. I've yet to visit the largest cacti nursery in the Malaysia, called Cactus Valley which is also in Cameron Highlands. I'm sorta saving that for the next stretch of holidays, it's about 3 hours drive from the city.

Also, I think it's worth mentioning that my garden is situated on my balcony, 14 storeys above ground. It's windy here and I'm facing North, so it's sun almost all day. Not like California sun, but like scorching tropical 365-day sun.

I water my plants lightly on a daily basis, because everytime I come home from work, the soil's dry. I dig up the pot, and there's little moisture left; it's usually dry an inch before it gets sorta damp. Roots are shallow, also about an inch deep.

Serious watering takes place once a week. There's holes at the bottom of my pot, but I've never seen water drip from them yet. Like never.

OooEee, more nice plants! Before I forget, a tip ~would probably be best if you give your plants numbers or letters, so referring to them (us & you) is easier. (plant A, or #1).

1st plant in this last set: Seems to be (or form of) Haworthia pumila. If the dots turn to rings (I see start of), then it could be named 'Donuts' (sometimes seen as 'Little Donuts' or 'Little Circles'...both incorrect). I lost the one I had, doubly sad as I received it as a gift from a friend who passed away.

2nd in this set: Haworthia attenuata (there is some variability).
It is not H. fasciata, as that would have clear upper leaf surface (smooth) & would also (eventually) grow in a column (taller).

3rd in this set: looks like Haworthia attenuata f. deltoidea (having wider leaf base).

Good to know your growing conditions. Seems you have to stay on top of your watering schedule. Means great care for your plants! Lucky them!

Quick question; is this the same plant? Haworthia Limifolia? The left is the one that we've all agreed that it's the H. Limifolia, but the one on the right displays a different growth habit.

Both however, have the same patterns on the leaves. But the one on the right has a wider leaf base, thicker leaves, and grows out in a more overtly spiral manner.

They're both approx 3" - 4" in diameter.

Is it a variant? A cultivar?

Suspected haworthia reinwardtii, but unsure of myself. Can confirm?

No ideas on this one's name. Patterns are less apparent compared to Column Grower #1.

Leaf patterns are far less apparent compared to the Column Growers #1 and #2. I happen to have a spare, leaves are slightly more elongated, I just think there wasn't enough sun at some point.

No clue on the name either.

Love these. So awesome. Last one resembles what I've understood to be a type of H. coarctata, but gosh do the variations between those give me a headache to try to ID. Yours looks to maybe be a slightly fatter form than mine.

Such nice plants! I'm learning things. I myself have a lot of the pretty windowed haws, but not many of these great robust guys. I just don't see many around here other than H. attenuata and the expected.

Just commenting on the H. limifolia comparison (also a tip-the 2nd part of a plant name, the species, is not capitalized): The plant on the right is what you would most often see for H. limifolia v. limifolia. The one on the left may just be young, or a hybrid. Wait till it grows out a bit & see if it follows suit.

Oh boy! Spotted Haws are tough, with several diff species & then all the varieties & forms!

Do you know for a fact all of these have columnar growth habits? Seems to be true from the pix, but hard to tell sometimes.

Col #1: Might be H. coarctata var. tenuis or H. coarctata v. coarctata
Col #2: not sure
Col #3: Might be H. coarctata fa. chalwinii

Check out these species for spotted types: coarctata, kingiana, minima, pumila, reinwardtii

All three seem to display the columnar growth habits, but in time, we'll be more certain. I suppose once they flower, I'll repost again and see whether there's a more definite answer.

Thanks though - but yes, definitely a H coarctata for all three, even for Col#2; looks a little less likely because of the camera angle perhaps.

#1 looks more to me like a form of H. retusa

As Karen stated, and I agree, #1 looks like a form of H. retusa.

#2 looks like a cross between a form of H. cooperi and a form of H. mirabilis. In other words, I have no clue!

#3 looks like a form of H. cymbiformis.
