Hi, Tracy, I have a stapelia, but I don't know if it is the one you are looking for. I don't know how to post a picture here, but I can email you a picture if you want me to. It grows similar to a rattail cactus and has a small maroon bloom. It is very pretty. I also have hardy cactus that has a very pretty bright orange bloom, it is in bloom now if you want me to send a picture. I am very very interested in getting a trade of your hen & chicks Kalinda and Ruby Heart. David Strainer alone is not enough since the solution will be too grainy and not work well in spray bottle. You could just use brush and dust cut ends with powder - I have done that too. I use it like that on large diameter prunings too (mostly jades) and never had any to rot. Cut ends dry up/callus very nicely. Spray is handy if you want to spray whole plant. I don't know if above plants are very 'juicy', if so, I probably would dab excess liquid off with a paper towel before applying cinnamon. Obviously, this is a home remedy - some will urge you strongly to use fungicide if fungus - it may work better? ew That's similar to what is happening to my aloe, it eventually just dries. I have cut first leave that is appeared on, but couple of other leaves developed similar spots. Some start almost like a blister rather than black spot. it is outside in full sun all day all year. it is in a coconut fiber basket with cactus soil. it took over the basket,it grows down through the soil and it is now all plant,doubt thee is any soil left in it now. Just lost its name and would like to know it. would love to get the yellow one with maroon spots all over it,but will settle for the name of this one.
