Where To Send Your Milkweed Plants/Seeds If You Have Too Many

If anyone has too many Milkweed sprouts or plants growing everywhere and you do not want them, I do. I will accept seedlings, small plants, rooted cuttings, or bare roots. I know that there are some aggressive Milkweeds like the Common Milkweed.

Any Milkweeds other than the Tropical. I have a lot of those. I know that there are people with Common Milkweed sprouts everywhere and instead of killing them they could send them to me:-)

I would love some of these as well, if there is anything on my list that you would like let me know. I also have a bunch of veggie seeds (some purchased, some left over from other trades) I also have a good amount of basil seeds from my garden. I posted this message because I am always reading that people just dig the Milkweeds out when there are new sprouts.

I am in need of locating some milkweed. Not being particular at this time. Wanting to start a butterly garden with my 3 year old this year and we are now trying to locate all we will need. I have a trade list if anyone is looking to do some trading. Recommendations are welcome. thanks

I'm thinking that you might be in Kansas City? The best milkweed to start with is the curassavica. I can send you some seeds if you will email me. I'm a sucker for a 3 year old--same age as my grandson--who loves the BFs in Nana's yard.

I have seeds for Asclepias tuberosa and syriaca. A. tuberosa is probably best grown from seed because of it's sensitive taproot.
