Have too many seeds - they've gotta go!

Hi all,

I am looking for a few trades of seeds for penstemons - any but Husker Red, cannas, variegated plants, shade loving plants, and heavy blooming plants.

Hi Jessie I sent you an email with what I have to share. I have a bunch of leaves started with new babies. They won't be ready to send until the spring. I can either send in 2" pots or grow them to 4" pot size. I would just want to be reimbursed for the postage and the pots. Audrey, stop buying on e-bay. Go to seed exchange and ask them for some good on line seed catalogs. There are many, and its cheeper than ebay. Parks seed has a sale going on for seeds $1.00 each pack. Better yet tell them you are new to seed saving/ winter sowing. Someone there will offer you seed for a bubble envelope and postage. Send them your bubble envelope with your return stamps and an address lable inside and they will send it back full of seed. They are great enablers! Also go to round robin exchange and click on some of those. "Extra extra Seed All About It Before Spring Swap" is a good one. Tell them you are a newby, that you don't have any seed to trade and then ask them if someone would be kind enough to sponsor you. Don't be shy about it. You will get many offers. I was in a round robin exchange at christmas time that had more offers of sponsors than there were newbes to accept. Again, they are great enablers. also there are many posts for seed for "SABE" This is again a bubble envelope with your return postage (stamps) and your address label inside. In fact I will send you some seed. I only have flowers and shrub seed (Sorry no monarda). Many wonderful other flowers though. Just send me a 6 by 9 inch bubble envelope with your address inside and 4 stamps. If I don't need to use them all I will send them back. I guess I'm a an enabler too. It's all about the SEED!!! Just click on "My Page" to find my e-mail so you can mail me for my address. Connie

I keep all my seeds in two photo boxes that I bought for 2.99 at Homegoods, one for annuals and one for perennials. I put a through z on 4x6 baggies and stuff the mini baggies of the seeds into the 4x6 envies. They are lined up alphabetical. When I get a package in as I look through it, I sort them into the proper larger envy. I have to say that I can always find what I'm looking for this way. It took a bit to set it up but I have saved time in the long run when giving seeds away. I just have to pull the letter that the seed starts with and viola! Is there really a time that you have too many!

They'll never go if I keep trading for more. LOL!
Any remaining seeds are available for SASBE - 8 packs for each offer, some may have as few as 12 seeds, some many more than an average trade. Send me your request here and in a followup email; please include your GW user name also. I'll set them aside until I receive a SASBE with your request, a return address label and two 42cent stamps. I'll only hold them for 2 weeks though.
