Tillandsia, no IDea

Any ideas? I thought it did not seem as tomentose as funckiana or araujei. The clustering of leaves on the stem is fairly dense, the growth is somewhat stiff, and a nice green.

I bought this at an orchid nursery this weekend, which the owner yanked from a massive clump approx. 3.5 feet long and about 2.5 feet wide. It was not blooming, but he said the blooms were very beautiful, and blue, but he couldn't remember the name of the plant - I guess because he's had it for something like 15 years.

I also want to mention that the owner of the nursery has what I thought was a T. seleriana, growing in a gigantic round clump, maybe the size of a small beach ball, the individual plants approx. 10 - 12" long. Does this sound like Tillandsia seleriana? I asked him what he feeds them - it's the orchid food his nursery developed, the ratio is 1-0-1. I was completely stunned by their size.
