queen, fox, & pigmy palms and drippers

I'm getting ready to add some palms to my drip lines.

I have one dripper line for my ficus trees. they get infrequent deep watering

the other line is for plants and shrubs. More frequent, much less water than the ficus.

which line should I have the the palms on?

i was going to do the pigmy and foxtail palms on the shrub line and the queen palm on the ficus dripper line.

any thoughts/ suggestions?

cjs111, I'd also put the Foxtail under the drip lines. The Phoenix roebelenii can go under the shrub line, in my opinion they look best in morning sun and afternoon shade in AZ.

And remember with Syagrus romanzoffianum, the reason most look like crap in the Valley is not only as a result of your summers and under watering, but also lack of fertilization. With a Queen fertilize, fertilize, fertilize in fall and spring. Once a month in those two season will give your Syagrus a fighting chance at remaining green and healthy.
