ohhhh my malcome?? sure!! you just keep track and fire me off a list, LOL and they are yours!! :')) i do have some kinda baptisia in the house, i need to plant them out. and boy they sure do brighten my day!! i was so happy to see my datura bloom!! then talla pulled the blooms off, then she told me she ate it, i FREAKED!!!! i told her she can't they are poisonous!! so she said that she actually put it in the fairy garden, so i'm like ok. i shoulda checked. but she does everything for her fairies. so its no surprise. LOL ummm no coleus. maybe bee balm :'))

yupp I was shooting in the direction of his car lol After I went out this morning I indeed saw that this year some of the blooms do not even have ANY LAVENDER in them. This is a ever changing Dat lol I think it has not made up its mind yet what it wants to be when it grows up roflmao Pam actually I THOUGHT we had enough rain last night...just got in from re potting some seedlings and potting up the Brug cuttings that i had in water a few days and finally got time to put em in dirt lol But I did get a few very nice pictures this morning. Not with raindrops but it looks like the dew is covering the whole flower. Very pretty. Tim you should try them. I love them very much. I do however love the HUGE single white Datura. When you walk out at night and in the morning and they are everywhere...they just GLOW Lucy

haha, the sun has been a problem for me. I have the bad luck of my property/house being set up in such a way that there's no where I can put it so it gets morning sun/afternoon shade. Right now it's in the sunniest part of my backyard (most of the yard has huge trees with full shade), but I'm hoping the temps will cool down now that it's winter. Do you think it's better to leave it there in the sun, or put it somewhere where it has partial shade all day long?

You must have a different verity... This is my first year and mine are about 2 feet tall or so and each plant is about 18 inches wide... My flowers aren't nearly that big, maybe about 3-1/2 to 4 inches long and only about 2 inches wide and to me they don't seem to open all the way... I do have some a lot smaller though... Only planted one pot of them because I didn't know what to expect... Well I planted another one last week ( they're already sprouting ) to see if they're a different color, the seeds are a light brown instead of black like the other ones... To tell the truth I'm still not sure that what I have is a true moon flower... The seeds pods I got this spring look like Datura pods only mine were egg shaped not round... ( God I wish I had a camera. ) And I didn't have to soak or nick the seeds, just tossed them in the planter, smoothed the dirt over them and watered.. Oh, mine are a light lilac with light purple throats... Although I think the first one was white with a light purple throat... I let that one develop a seed pod and haven't had any other flowers on that one... Rita
