Hmm, those look like pink baby's breath to me, Fran, but the seeds of my pink BB are fairly small (much smaller than hibiscus)and black. The seed pods are brown & roundish - try squishing with your fingers what you think are seeds - if they're actually the pods, they'll break easily & the black seeds will fall out. The other thing I can think your photo might be would be silene, possibly silene armeria, but those seeds are small too.

My pink babies breath doesn't look anything like that. Mine is store bought but it doesn't stand up, it masses in a mound and the flowers are very tine. I would take a picture but I just cut off al the dead blooms to try to get it to re bloom. My seed pods were very tiny kind of like a poppy pod but only one hole instead of several. I popped the seeds out and yest they are very tiny. Good luck.

Those look like my Cow Cockle, Vaccaria hispanica. If they are they will form a pod with round black seeds similar to poppy seeds but much larger. Crush the dry pods to get the seeds out.

This is kinda late.I am trying to find out what perennial babys breath seeds look like.Your plant looks like lychnis coronaria.I have the deep hot pink one,a friend has this color.It will self sow if happy.Posy Pet
