Barrie, thoughts on Musa Basjoo and Fruiting

Hiya Barrie, if you don't mind may I get your opinion on this?

We have 3 Musa Basjoos in 21" deep pots. (I chose this rather than planting in groud as our climate is just too cold I think to take a chance). We now also have 2 pups in pots, which are doing well.

Anyway, my question. The 3 in the large pots, which grow amazingly well, what are the chances that they'll actually fruit?

This is their 3rd year. We originally bought them about 2 Marches ago. This coming March is the 3rd.

For the winter, rather than following the cut and mulch thing that others do in our general climate, we move them into our little hoop greenhouse, where they live quite nicely with an average temp of 10C.

Any ideas if we'll ever see fruit and if so, when we might expect it? Also, is there anything I need to do to promote fruiting? More ferts? What type of ferts? etc.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts you may have.

Cheers
