When can you plant separately pups from a Musa Super Dwarf Cavendish? The main plant itself has a stem that is about 2 feet tall. It has many pups (most are only emerging from the ground). One is slightly bigger, it has, I think 6 leaves. Can I separate it already? Here's the picture, you can see the pup:

I've read that they must have at least four leaves before separating...
A few weeks ago I've tried to separate one pup that had 4-5 leaves (it was smaller than the one in the picture) and it doesn't seem to be rooting... Or is it too early to tell? The leaves are getting brown and drying.
What is the care of just separated pups? Do you need to put on a plastic bag to maintain humidity (like a mini greenhouse)?
