My pictures are saved in .jpg format. I use Microsoft Photo Editor to resize them if they are too large. Normally, resized pictures appear on the Forum the same size they are in my files.

I use Photobucket Free. Then.... 1...just type your message,...or in this case a reply to this post, changing the Subject of Posting line by one character. 2...open Photobucket in another tab 3...find the pic you want to post in the message, 4...click on HTML code found in the third box below the pic. It will say copied in yellow, 5...go back and paste the HTML in your message box, 6...hit preview, You will then see your message, and the actual pic, and 7... lastly hit submit. Sue

On your imgage hosting page, there should be a link below your image. For instance, on Photobucket they have links for Email & IM, Direct Link, HTML Code and IMG Code. The last being what you'd use on most message boards... But you can also Click the thumbnail on your image hosting site and on the largest image, right click on it, go to properties and then copy the image address and then insert it in code I posted in the above post. Sometimes on the "Preview Message" page after you type your post, there's a spot on the bottom to insert the address for an image. I don't know how it appears but before going to the Preview Message page, the only spots are Optional Link URL and Name of the Link and sometimes I see a spot for Image Address or something like that.

hi Simon, like jsvand5 said, first, upload your pics to a website, such as picasa or photobucket, or even a file server. now suppose the link to a photo you uploaded is http://www.domain.com/myphoto.jpg. just add <img src=http://www.domain.com/myphoto.jpg> to your post you will see the photo.
