Know of any truely small bulb of Amaryllis.

Lot of amaryllis are advertise as mini but they are not really small.

Little Angel and Amaoretta are small.

Sweet Lillian is not.

Know of any other small bulbs amaryllis?

Hello Michele!
Most of the japanese hybrids are really small, like Oborozuki, Yume mitai, Pretty lip etc.

Well, all of the Hadeco Sonatini varieties are really small, and I guess Supreme Garden and Lovely Garden should be named here too.

Hi timbershort, Welcome to Garden Web and The Bulb Forum. There is a Exchange side of the forum here...just click the link above the list of threads Switch to Exchange. Well, now I see you found it and even posted to a thread, but the thread is a year old. Before trying to do any trading I would suggest you get your email link set up on your Member Page so you can be reached. I also suggest that you update your Member Page so it shows your location in the one box provided for the garden zone. See I am zone 5/6 S IN Many members, myself included will not respond to trade posts if the member does not have their location on their member profile. It is a postage, days in transit, hardiness, etc thing that is considered. By placing your location in your zone box, it will be displayed on your Member Page, and it will automatically be shown whenever you post. It is good info to have whenever asking or answering questions. Please see addressing newbie and newer member issues for instructions on getting both your email link and your location set up. Oh...one last thing. After you get set up for tading (link and location) you might want to make a trade post at The (main) Plant Exchange. Hi Caleb, I have 3 different Amaryllis 'babies' that I planted this June and are about 2" to 3" tall. Colors: Unknown Red - very dark Peppermint - Red & White Apple Blossom - Pink & White As they are Babies it will be 2 to 4 years before they are big enough to produce blooms. A real pity that you did not fertilize. Reliable and significant mass gain is only achieveable by regular feeding. (I pray that all the time) Last year my bulb of the very particular cultivar "dalongbowdrawer" quadrupled in size and yielded eight stems solely from the mother bulb and 12 from the freshly emerged offsets. Gosh, that was great experiences - However, this exaggerated formation of daughter bulbs forces me to repot twice a year and will certainly drive me crazy some day. Hans-Werner

bunti-- Not sure of the website you're referring to but there are loads of them out there these days. Brentandbeckys.com... Springhillsnursery.com, royalcolors.com... and ebay is another source. there are loads more i haven't list here but even if you search this forum for sites, you'll find tons. I have 3 very small amaryllis from my aunt. And I know for a fact they are small because they grow baby bulbs and my aunts bulbs (that are very small) flowered.But I don't know what type they are, but my aunt calls them Vietnamese Amaryllis(Hoa Hue).

San Antonio Rose has small bulbs. Stokes Tropicals say: San Antonio Rose is smaller than most Amaryllis cultivars, only growing to about 15 inches in height. They are selling for $4.95/bulb
