Miniature Amaryllis Papillio potting/resting

zeitgeist

I am new to the whole bulb planting thing and bought a miniature amaryllis papillio about a year and a half ago. I bought it in a clay pot and it has bark and soil as its base (dirt, what have you). It blossomed once in the winter and then has done nothing for a year and a little bit. I only recently cut the green leaves back (I did not know that is what I was supposed to do until recently). Should I take it out of the pot and either re-pot it or put it in a cold place for a a while? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
