Flooded bamboo garden

Hi all,

I want to buy a 2 acres field near a river, to start a small bamboo nursery .Every year this field is flooded by that river for 2-3 times, and the soil will be covered by the water between 3 and even 7 days( very rare is it covered more than 7 days)The soil is a very good sandy and nutrient. As soon as the water goes down again the soil dries back in 2-3 days, so it is a good drained soil.In thoes periods when the water will cover the garden my bamboos will also be flooded. Will my bamboos be in danger because of the excess of the water or they will survive? What's your opinion?Haw many days will bamboos survive in that field covered by 10-40 inches of water? Are there some periods(autumn - spring)when they can withstand under the water , better than in the warm season(spring-summer) ?Thanks,

Puiu from Romania
