This sibling tries at least hard to look like its mother.I pollinated "PapDon2" with a dark/purple Knight Star Lily, presumably "Royal Velvet", but I cannot exclude self pollination.

A second sibling, and there is no doubt left that this was crosspollination with "Royal Velvet" not mere selfpollination.Two maiden flowers, like the first sibling above. The first floret has almost fully opened, and the flower has a subtle fragrance, like Appleblossom.

"Out" is rather uncomfortable now,

Do you have any future plans to possiby sell PapDon2 to a propagator so as to eventually make her available to all who covet her? I think I already know the answer, but I thought I'd ask.:-)

I would not be as dishonest as to pretend that I am not interested in pecuniary "profit". But the money that I could possibly collect from "selling the rights" would be too little; so I say "I am not interested in the money". If I had serious friendship with a serious breeder/producer THEN I would release all that is worth being released.

The color PATTERN of "PapDon2" is unique, and in conjunction with the good "symmetric" shape of the flower this makes it an attractive hybrid.
However, my vision of an actually "superb" Amaryllis has always been an unicolored with broad white midribs though, which MUST extend, to the point of each segment.Without becoming broader "on this way". I have a ton of 1/2 year old seedlings of "Ambiance" x "UnderTheLadder" that I speculate about; some could make this dream come true.
