Sorry, I'm in your zone but have none of the roses you mentioned.

Hi Tim, I live in Arizona were it gets very hot in the summer 120+ and the 2 I have are Purfume Delight and Oregold. In our heat the rose's really never look that good in July and August but, Oregold with afternoon shade handles the heat, as does Perfume Delight. I don't know what your temps are in your area but the 2 I mention here do fine for me. The others I do not have, so could not comment on those. When it is hot water, water, water.

I don't grow any of the roses you have mentioned, but I do have months of high temps in the summer ... not up to 120, but certainly in the high 90s and low 100s every day.

I've studied the roses that do best in my garden in high temps and the two primary plant characteristics that seem to make roses more heat tolerant are roses with thick petal substance and dense foliage.

When I clean up the plants in spring, I do not take off all of the twiggy growth that may produce leaves because those leaves help the plant to be more heat tolerant.

I also spray the roses down every day to both increase the humidity around the plant ... for a little while ... and to allow the plants to absorb moisture through their leaves instead of just relying on the moisture pulled up through the plant in the root zone. I haven't "studied" this practice in a real scientific test, but I do see a difference in the plants.

I have all of them except PERFUME DELIGHT. NICOLE is a tiny own-root that I've had for sometime and it has never grown much and rarely blooms. APRICOT CANDY is probably the best of all of these. Blooms beautifully in heat and cooler temps. PINK PROMISE was fairly new and did ok last summer, but the color maybe was a bit washed out. OREGOLD is the oldest of these and has never really done all that well anytime of the yr. Not a very good rose as far as I'm concerned. Seems to do better in the cooler months tho.

My climate is (normally) cold and rainy in winter, cool and wet in spring, scorching hot in summer into fall, with temps often hitting 110 degrees off and on for days at a time. However, this past yr was anything but normal. Summer produced only one or two days of triple-digit temps. I had fewer blooms on all my roses than normal. And now winter is, so far, the warmest I've seen in 20yrs, and the roses are popping out blooms like crazy.

Perfume Delight did fine in our low desert heat. Like Carrie, no rose in Phoenix is going to look awesome in July or August.
