Need an expert opinion

I got the amaryllis I ordered last week from east to grow bulbs, too me it looks like I lucked out and got some ok bulbs.

Did have two points of concern though...

On Appleblossom, there's a soft spot where my guess would be it might have been dropped. I'm going to watch it for a few days and see what it turns into. Its the spot dead center on the bulb. There's some extra skins still there that I didn't want to apply too much pressure trying to get them off the soft spot.

On Minerva, it looks as though it was roughed up on top. I peeled off one complete layer of scarred white skin. I'm guessing that I won't have too much to worry about with what is left, since that part will be up out of the pot.

To say Phoenix is a dry climate is a bit of an understatement, so I don't have much worry in the way of rot with these bulbs, but I'll let them dry for a few days, dust them with fungicide and rooting hormone and pot them up. Correct?

Thanks for the advivce!

Ryan
