Need advice on my tree

We live near Dallas, TX and this summer we had a Texas green ash planted in our back yard. I made sure it was getting lots of water the first few weeks as the temps get above 100 degree daily. About a month or so later all the leaves fell off. I call the place that put the tree in and the said they would come out and replace it.

When they came back up with the new tree and they dug up the old tree its roots hadn't grown out but instead they were growing around themselves.

We decided to wait until the middle of Sept as the temperature starts cooling down. This time they planed a Red oak, about 20' tall, took 4 guys to carry it.

The new tree has been in for a week and every day so far I would fill up its bowl with water. I have started to notice that many leaves are again turning yellow.

Is this normal? Any advice on how much water to give it or anything else I should do?

Thank you.
