I planted limelight and white this year. The white ones will go in the moongarden out back. They smell so good at night.

Kris, if any variegated sprout I will send you some seeds later in the summer.

I only have a few red ones left.

Another thing I like about 4-oclocks. They are the easiest seed to collect, they are big and black and just sit right there in their little cup waiting for you. I'll collect a bagful for future trades! :-D

I like big seeds too. 4 o'clock seeds look like little torpedos.

I would not say 4'clocks are teeny teeny seedlings even when newborn. Seed itself as mentioned above quite large. I hope what you seeing is 4 o'clock seedlings.

I can't decide whether or not to buy and sow more 4 o'clock seeds in case the early-sown don't make it.
I really do want to be done with WS'ing. I've got so many sprouting that I can't plant out until after frost, and I am *tired* of covering uncovering protecting from rain etc.

ah...decisions...decision...

My friend just gave me some varigated. I'm soaking them. Will sow tomorrow. That will be my last container.

I just sowed 4 o'clocks yesterday and today: limelight, custard & cream, broken colors and "clownie" (from Lynda2008). Mostly old-ish seed (except "clownie"), so don't know what will germinate or not. If every seed germinates, I'll have 33 plants. Nice number, 33.

My "last" container? Don't know when that will be - my friend came by the other day and said she wanted flowers and flowers and flowers! So I'm pretty much done for ME, but I'm going bonkers sowing for (at least) two other people. Oy!
