Crazy World, But The Rose Garden, A Sanctuary

When you consider all that is going on in the world, our

rose gardens are becoming more and more, a sanctuary.

I am an optimist, but I just feel, our world is at a critical

stage. Do you feel this way, too.

With an oil crisis looming. We need desperately, to find

other forms of energy and fuel. We can't keep relying on

countries, in the middle east. Anything can happen there.

China, is on track to become the economic super power of

the world. They are trying to secure as much oil as they can,

including dealing with nations, hostile to us.

There is a presidential election next year and all the lead

candidates are flawed. I'm afraid of big government, but

I'm afraid of not investing enough in our country, as well.

The climate is going crazy everywhere. It's topsy-turvey!

You don't know what to expect anywhere, in any season,

anymore. There is serious drought in some places, while

other places get too much rain.

Pakistan, a nuclear power, is in upheaval. It is going

to always be a danger, with extremists trying to gain

control.

There seem to be weird, new virus strains popping up

and scientists have no way to deal with them.

But then there are the roses. I can go to the garden and

see the sunny blooms of Graham Thomas, see the pretty,

quartered blooms of Collette, with a sweet scent. I turn

and notice the birds enjoying my garden as much as me.

I get lost in contemplating how I can improve this garden

next season. I will move Snow-Goose there and place a

pink clematis on it. I will get Pretty Jessica and put two of

them over here. These are the thoughts, that fill my mind,

in the rose garden. It just like being in another realm there.

The roses with all their beauty and wonder, make me feel:

THE WORLD IS GOING TO MAKE IT, SOMEHOW!!!
