Anyone bought from Edelweiss Perennials in Oregon?
Comments (2)I bought some epimediums from them in the fall of 2014. I had a good experience. They sent nice plants, but I was a bit worried about one variety because they were already going dormant. I emailed and they said that they would probably be fine but to let them know if they didn't come back in the spring. All made it through, even though it was a rough winter. Now in their second spring, they are all leafed out and doing well (although I lost a lot of the flowers this year due to that hard frost in early April.) I would definitely buy from them again. They do occasionally send out sale emails, so get on their mailing list if you haven't already....See MoreNevio sectional. Macy’s . Anyone have experience w this?
Comments (83)Does anyone have experience or instructions for disassembling these for a move? I've contacted Macy's and they told me to contact the manufacturer (Kuka) directly, which I did, but getting very strange answers about the product, as if they don't actually know how it's put together. We have the two power recliners that are linked together. But do the arms detach also? The manufacturer is telling me to lift entire unit by the arms and they are telling me it doesn't come apart in the middle. Both of these answers seem problematic, but the items were delivered and installed by Macy's several years ago, and I can't quite remember how they were put together. I have asked Kuka directly for some sort of user's manual, but no luck....See MoreDoes anyone have experience with Sarto doors? I have a mid century mod
Comments (5)We have a set of Sartodoor double barn boors and a set of matching french doors from United Porte. They look gorgeous and go up pretty straight forward. However, the vinyl wrapping on one of the doors is bubbling/separating from the wood and the other came with the vinyl cracked/torn in an area. While they are sending us new doors, it still makes me wonder about the longevity of them. We also got the silk white color and while it is very clean looking and silky, they get dirty from the slightest touch of even a 'clean' hand. Further, they're not paintable, according to Sartodoor so we're stuck with cleaning them as much as we can but some dirt smudges are pretty much permenent; like pencil marks from measurements during install. Some of those pencil marks got worked into the pores of the vinyl and are permanent stains now. The door frame and trim is also vinyl wrapped and not paintable. So, screw and nail holes aren't really able to be caulked because the caulk turns yellow and dingy when not painted and the vinyl isn't paintable. We did paint a section of the inner door jamb where some sharpy marks and extra holes where made after mis measuring hinge screw holes. With Kilz, the vinyl did take some Behr trim paint. However, it is easily scratched off with your fingernail. Fortunately, the painted section is high and in the jamb where it's not touched. Don't get me wrong, they're great doors especially for the price. But if given the choice again, I'd go with something paintable, not vinyl wrapped....See MoreDoes anyone have experience with Leadstone Quartz?
Comments (6)Sure Joseph, that’s understood. The question is, is this Chinese product inferior under normal use? It looks great but I want something durable that will look just as good 7-9 years from now....See Moresbeas
