what to do with germinated wintersown seeds

Hi All,

I tried wintersowing for the first time with Marigolds and Petunia in March and now I see that both have germinated well. Should I wait for the growth of true leaves before transplanting into cups?

Right now should I leave them where they are with lids with holes on the containers or any suggestions?

Once I transplant them in cups whats the next step? Can they stay outdoors prone to wind/rain/sun or special care need to be done till I finally transplant them in final containers or beds?

All suggestions are welcome

Thanks,

S
