I planted cypress vine and cardinal vine on Apr 12, and I got sprouts, it looks like every one germinated.

Other years I have just used the cheapest soil I could find - except for one that turns into a brick.

this year I bought some soil from my local nursery, the stuff he grows his seeds in. It is so nice - fluffy. And he adds 1/2 strength fertilizer. I think it's going to make a difference.

I'm doing an experiment with planting some of the same seeds in the stuff I used to always use, and this stuff. I'll let you know results.
