slightly OT-Groundcover Recs

Does anyone have any recommendations for a groundcover to use in our flagstone patio as a filler? Something that I could direct sow or spring sow? Zone 7, full to part sun area that could stand quite a bit of foot traffic?
I searched the steppables website and they recommended sagina sublata or blue star creeper. Wasn't there a thread recently on the invasiveness of blue star? I actually WS'd some sagina a few weeks ago but it hasn't come up yet. Our plan was to use that in another area that is weed prone right now. I wonder if I would've been better off direct sowing that one.
I'd really like to do moss but I think we get too much sun there for it to stay.
Thanks!
