Is there a photo gllery that identifies seedling?

I'm trying to find my way around Garden Web again, and have been trying to find a photo gallery to identify seedlings. I've looked in the Photo Galleries, WS Forum, and Seed Starting forum, but do not see anything. Is there such a feature here as a file that lists the plant name with a corresponding picture of its seedling? There are plenty of places to see pictures of the adult plants, but none that I can see that catalog the seedlings. There are pictures within posts here, but that is not as helpful.

Of course I lost a few labels over the winter, and now have flats that need to be identified, otherwise I have to wait until they mature to figure it out.

Thank you!!!! This is really helpful. I will see if I can add some of my own, but only if I am 100% certain of the plant. I often grow seeds that I collect, and do not know the actual type, let alone the name of the plant. Some of my labels are "Tall spikey, white flower" or "Smelly seed, red foliage"!

I've never grown these so others who have probably know just by looking but "investigating" is irresistable to me! Photos 1, 2 and 3 look like Lantana when you compare with pictures from some nursery photos. Link to one below. Lantana are described as having "stems and leaves covered with rough hairs..." Another link to Floridata with clear example of foliage: http://www.floridata.com/ref/l/lant_c.cfm Info on Pentas lanceolata are said to be "somewhat furry and deeply veined" which might match photo 4. Sorry but it is almost impossible to ID seedlings at that stage. Even if you can narrow down the specific choices it is still guess work. I can tell you that Chinese Pistachio do not have a tip leaflet on the leaf branch as that appears to have. They develop in sets of two evenly spaced all the way to the tip. Dave

Pippi, My plant markers are made from the covers from coffee cans, margarine tubs, cottage cheese tubs, sour cream tubs. Anything that has a plastic cover. I cut them in half, and then each half is cut in half again. I use a black deco paint pen. Those are permanent and never fade. Some of those markers that are in the pics are 6 years old. I save them from year to year and just reuse them if I sow the same seeds again. Not all paint pens are the same. The ones that can be used on clothing do not work well on plastic and don't last, they either fade or rub off. A few others I've tried took a long time to dry on the plastic as well. That's why I stick with and use only Deco paint pens. By the time I'm through writing a label on the plastic, it's dry and ready to use. Oh, I don't cut of the edge of the covers either. I write the name of the seeds on that edge as well on the side of the tag. That way I can look down and read what is in the container as well as on the side Fran
