OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. But, as my DH says, "It's been a trip, but I wouldn't change any of it!"

Kathy, thank you very much for your generous offer. I already ordered several daylilies from the list I was asking about. I got e-mail from nursery and expect Cindy's Eye to be delivered tomorrow. This was my Birthday present for myself this year. I ususally order some roses or daylilies or clematis, etc and just tell my husband that this is a present from him. However this year it is actually better. I ordered as usual but he consulted with my sister and ordered something himself. Very unusual :), but nice. Olga

Linda Erasmus, blushing I was alluding to Ronda's Mountain Laurel, I think it is called--always loved it as well as your Rosette Delizy which doesn't look a thing like mine but quite a bit like "The Rose of Tralee". It is a lucky rose for me too. John please come back and tell me I'm so stinking funney--this is embarrassing, but I never weary of that and I love you dearly as always. Was anyone else confused when Jack Bennie changed from 27 to 39 from one show to the next? I was only a little kid but it seemed very tricky and very much an adult thing to do. But I digress, sorry I'm late, hope it is the best birthday ever, happy and fun. You do to deserve that rain and lots of it!
