Thank Heavens, At Last!!

I have about a hundred or so containers by my back door on the patio. I was beginning to think none would ever germinate. This morning, I had to pull ice off the containers covered with plastic. But on further examination, several have germinated. I see no reason why the others should not too. The containers don't get much sun at all and the weather has been so variable. They have frozen often.

Just as backup, I have about 35 or so seeds germinating under lights. I may add another light set up to sow a few more.

Is it too late for 6a/b? to winter sow now. We will have 3 nights below freezing early next week. Most likely there will be other freezing days too.

This process takes a great deal of faith. When everyone was reporting shoots, I had none. I planted the whole month of Feb. and now through March.

I would like to sow zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, and other annuals including Sunflowers. What do you think?
