This year I tried to restrain myself. The current selection, most of it still in the fridge, is: Exotica (sitting next to the computer, just about to bloom) Aphrodite (showing the tips of stalks, on the kitchen counter) Charisma (3) Lemon Lime (2) Pink Diamond (3) Melusine Papilio Picotee (2) In past years I have also loved: Apple Blossom Hercules Green Goddess Nymph Sweet Surrender (the most magnificent flower, but they do eventually bend down, even with stakes, and can look messy towards the end) and others too numerous to name. I also have about forty Ziva paperwhites just waiting for their pebble and water homes. Am always looking for pretty containers for my paperwhites! My amaryllis are all potted in terra cotta, slightly larger pots than are usually recommended. My addiction to this flower is sick, sick, sick, and I love it!

Jeff, I don't usually divide chamomile since it reseeds so easily. I will cut it back really, really hard once it is about through with a flush of flowering and it will then regrow and reflower. The method used to propagate chamomile depends oh which type you are growing. If it is English Chamomile, you can propagate it via seeds, division or by layering. If it is German Chamomile, you usually propagate it by seed only. I treat dill the same way as chamomile, cutting it back hard if I want to keep it growing and in flower, or let it go to seed if I want the seeds for cooking. I have never heard of anyone propagating it via division or cuttings, only by seed. Sage is easy to grow from cuttings. I have never tried to divide it from the rootball and don't know if that is how it is usually done. But, if you see clumps forming away from the main clump you can dig the little clumps up, separate them from the mother clump and replant them. Cut back the topgrowth of the divisions a little to compensate for the shock of being dug and transplanted. You can divide many perennial plants by cutting the rootball in half, but you will always have to cut back the top a lot to compensate for the digging/cutting/replanting. I usually just let the herbs grow into huge monsters. I tend to let them reseed, and then I just dig up the tiny seedlings and put them where I want them. In a rainy year, I will cut back herbs many, many times. Dawn

Sorry Teppy that I didn't respond sooner...I did not have internet connection for a couple of days. Something to do with IP address... Here is the link to the venetian blend with the red sea stone. They aren't a true red color but I blend of different shades of red. This blend has the flax stone, the red sea stone and I had added to this blend the hem color tantrum tile and the antique bronze. I told them to delete the adobe color glass tile (change it with the hem) and the grand mamier tile (change it with the bronze). Will see...hope I like it! It is funny what you did to the exeter tiles!!! This is something that I would have done myself as well...I'm glad that at the end you achieved the look you were looking for. Thanks for the tip about dry brushing some paint on the tiles...I'll keep that in mind if I get surprised once my tile arrives..Also, if you don't mind sharing what you got as the liner for your wood hood...do you like it?
