WANTED: Want to firm up the date for the Spring swap

Hello all,

Really want to see every one this spring, don't know what I will have, but will come up with some things. I am going into semi-retirement in 9 working days, and I am in heaven! Really want to come to the spring swap and see everyone! The Master Gardeners convention is the Fri. before April 29, and am willing to do what everyone else wants to do, but just need to know so I can plan! Let's just all decide and set a date before I send the bucks in, cause the bucks are going to be shallow, but the time in the garden is going to be DEEp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ha!Whoop-pee!!!!!!!!!

Hi rootdigger: I'm interested in the Oct date although open to others. I will have nursing clinicals from 7am-1pm on those dates so hope the hours will allow me to attend, I"m in Surry County so then would need some travel time. I do have some Ceanothus americanus - New Jersey Tea from your list. They are small seedlings that were ws in 2006 but are still small, maybe this plant is slow growing? Anyway, maybe I can figure out how to get plants to you & others even if I cannot attend.

Hi There I had a great time at my first swap last year - thanks to Christine! I am hoping someone may have some of the following : Japanese Anemone (varieties other than Honorine Jobert or Max Vogel) Wood Hyacinth Geranium - perennials (not annual pelargoniums) - any type Dogwoods (babies are fine) Ferns (Maidenhair or Lady would be great) - any other is fine Variegated hosta - any type except those with curled edges Monkshood Epimedium - white or other other unusual varieties (I have sulphureum and rubrum) Trillium Witchhazel Autumn Clematis Veggies - we're going to try a veggie patch this year: Leeks broccoli zucchini cherry tomato plants Lettuce basil parsley thyme spinach cabbage Thanks and look forward to seeing everyone next week. TINA asked me to start a new thread since I wanted to make sure that I had captured everyone's emails from my time in hospital. I am now facing complication 2, but my husband has offered to stand in for me, bring and collect everything, and even bring the food. Will everyone please look at my last because there are many things I asked for, but did not receive a response on, and I do not want people to expect we've made an agreement and not get it. Oh, no! I just saw the posts here. I can make the 8th, but not the 15th as I'll be away on vacation in the desert. I have lots of huge plants taking over and need to remove some of them if I can find the roots over in China. If the swap is the 8th, I may need to do some swapping a la carte and will let you all know what I have. Or maybe I can pass off some stuff to someone to take to the swap for me? I don't really 'need' more plants. :) Susan

Missed last year because of promotion at work. Missed the previous year because I was working toward that promotion. Wife and son attended instead. But, this year my wife is due to deliver my second son: Parrish Granger Reese, on or around the end of April, first of May. I have some plants to trade and I am always looking for hydrangeas. Anyone have any to trade in person between Auburn and Anniston near the state line? BTW, Granger is french for? Anyone?
