North East Fl. roses for Nancy and others moving.

Roses are pretty far down the list here in popularity because Hibiscus and some other plants look good with almost no care.

Those that do grow roses around this area apparently don't want to spray, nor maintain a regular feeding schedule.

How easy it will be for you depends on getting close enough to the ocean to benefit from the ocean effect. However that wasn't much help this year as it was plus 90 for 45 straight days and dry.Hopefully that was an anomaly.Normally high eighties and summer afternoon rain showers makes this an easy place to grow roses. This year the flush in August tended to have browning and smaller blooms than in the past dog days.Getting back to normal, now.

If you do move up here do yourself a favor and don't try to fight the soil. The bacteria break things down so quickly and the really heavy rains wash the nutrients out so fast you might as well just use time release and/or miracle gro.
