Seasonal change, hopefully?

I planted Mrs Dudley Cross last March. Today is the first time I have seen pretty flowers. Flowers have been at best semi-double, miniscule and a nondescript cream color. I could only turn my head, walk past and groan, thinking "I bought the plainest rose I have ever seen that everybody raves about."

Well, even though temps are over 90 and humidity is still brutal, our sun is definitely falling away toward the south, and I think Mrs Cross feels the difference. With unabashed pride and joy, I can say "I like these flowers!"
