Instead of wagon wheels...

We've been talking about tripods. Mine is a pain in the behind so I'm trying to think of another idea. Kaye has wagon wheels on poles and it is beautiful but I can't find any wagon wheels.

Picture this: 4 rebar poles, each 1 foot apart, in the shape of a square, with rebar welded around to form a square at the top which is 7 or 8 feet in the air. My brother could weld the 4 1 foot pieces of rebar onto the rebar posts. Would this give the same effect of the wagon wheel? After all, once the roses are grown, the structure is hidden anyway.

What do you think?

I'm looking for something I can put going up my driveway, so I'd need about 6 of them and they would be aproximately 10 feet apart. Since I need 6 they need to be cheap. I could do tripods, but I like the idea of the roses fountaining out of the top.
