As I was looking at my roses struggling in this heat, drought, and aftermath of the Easter freeze and goat escapes, I did see some beauty that warranted my camera. Can you identify these roses from the pics?

Hi Ninjabut, I was gonna freeze however yesterday my mom found my grandmothers canning kit with full directions. These are the errors I've made: Corn plants too close. indeed... I have a friend here in So Cal with over 320 species in his dinky yard... but have many friends in Hawaii with over 500 species (some with well over 100 species of Dypsis alone), and some approaching 1000. Just not fair sometimes. Palm society is going to see Kampon's 'yard' next year... has perhaps almost 1500 species there on his land... yikes!

That's okay, I still have plants that they don't. Wait until they want one with documentation. I'll just be quiet, and come out at night when they are looking, and when they least suspect anything I will get them, I don't forget being snubbed or them being that rude, it's still a mans world they think. If the Huntingon has the room to raise them and progate them, so them all can own them at a decent price affordable for the public they will get them. Robert- Whatever they are, they are both gorgeous! And I love all the rows of petals on the 2nd one. The only yellow one I can think of is Lady Hillingdon (probably because I keep thinking about her and pondering where I could find enough space...), but I'm sure if it were her, all the experts on here would have pegged her right away. Is the yellow rose 'Cl. Lady Hillingdon'? I can't decide
between that and 'Gloire de Dijon'...But then I think it
is neither because I don't see any red on the stems.
Whatever it is, it is beautiful, I love the shade of yellow.

I have been thinking all along that number one has to be Jude the Obscure except the picture looks a little darker than normal and I had no idea about # 2 but with the hint I am going with James Galway.
