Not sure about 3...it does have at least 2 shapes...oval and "mitten-lobed"...but there are also the mulberries...they have great variation in the shape of their leaves. Sassafras trees (at least the ones I've seen growing wild) are not shrubby. They tend towards"leggy" and though there may be some large specimens in some habitats the ones that I have encountered tend to break very easily and they never attain great stature. On my property they appear to be very attractive to asian bittersweet and just about every sassafras is bending and contorted under the weight of these vines. The flowers are beautiful but not showy and I don't think people generally buy them for their blooms....however, the foliage is very nice especially in the autumn! They are host to many, many butterfly/moth species.

Having lived in rural areas for most of my life, water quality is high on my concern list. As a child, our farm well water was the best IMO. The last 30 years, have been surrounded by folks who use excess pesticides, fertilizers and at times, even dump old motor oil in fence rows. Nearly all rural wells are contaminated with chemicals usual water tests do not detect. In one area, no infants were to have the water in formula due to all the excess agricultural fertilizer in the water. Currently, we invested in a filter(whole house) and distillation (for food prep and drinking), system for our city water source. We are shocked at the debris picked up by the filter. Before we installed this system, our skin was constantly itchy and excessively dry despite natural lotions. The water smelled like an open chlorax jug at times. No more. When we travel locally, we take our own water in SS mugs or glass jars. Have heard of some scientists who now suggest double distilled water for all drinking and cooking. Quite interesting that most breweries use complex water filtration systems to maintain quality. Wonder how soon safe water will cost more than gasoline? cella jane

Nkkp and LascaTX, Thanks for your reply. I've purchased a lot of things over the internet but none of them weighed over 10 lbs. So to say that I'm hesitant to order something that is shipped on a pallet and has a chance of breakage even though the box might not reflect it, scares me to death. So because of my very narrow-minded, unreasonable fear, I went ahead and purchased an E-Lux venthood from Sears. *don't roll your eyes at me* LOL The sones level is twice that of the Imperial at high speed but I figure this speed won't be used ALL the time. To further assuage my paranoia of electronics breaking (in massive, not-easy-to-box-up-to-return items such as a built-in appliances), Big Box afforded me the opportunity to add to their bottom line purchase an extended warranty of five years in duration. Because we all know that these things like to breakdown on day 357. Plus they do price matching and actually did one on-the-spot when they were proving to me that they shop the competition. So, unless I change my mind and cancel with Sears (which they have a most generous cancellation policy), I will not be able to add to the knowledge pool on Imperial or Kobe brand venthoods. : / But I will be able to on the following: GE Profile Induction cooktop 36", PHP960 Bosch dishwasher SHX4AP0 E-lux 36" venthood RH36WC60G Oven - yet to be determined ....at some nebulous time in the future as I've yet to sign with a GC. Thank you for your response. If I had done things appropriately I wouldn't be asking this question. I assume there are people who have used these hinges (or they wouldn't be made and sold). I'm told now my issue isn't this hinge but instead that I can't have wall and glass mount hinges on the same door as they have different cam offsets and one or the other hinge would bind?
