Now I remember why...

... I start so many plants indoors. #$*(*@#&$ CHIPMUNKS!

When I went to check my containers this morning, there was carnage and destruction in my clamshells. While the clams had been tied closed, the ventilation hole (where the spout of the water container used to be and I removed) apparently left plenty of access for these freaking rodents to enter and dig through all the seeds. I am so angry right now I'm foaming. I HATE chipmunks. With this in mind, I'll have to reconsider if I'll WS annuals. After all, the warmer weather would mandate that I keep the tops off containers to keep from frying seeds/seedlings. Yet any container here is usually dug up by chipmunks (my pots, my flower boxes, you name it, etc). It was winter when I WS'd and I totally forgot about them! But now they are active. They are a plague.

Now I have to figure out what to do to protect what I've sown so far.... Any suggestions?

Kris (wanting to kick something)
