Comments (14)if you just grab the old flower stalk.. and TEAR it out.. a cabbage will come with it often ... just stick it where you want another ... or ... put a shovel right in the middle of it.. in situ ... and slice right through it ... and them dig half out ... as soon as they start growing ... they will hide the dissecting ... or.. just get the car.. as noted above ... THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WITH THIS PLANT..... NEVER... EVER fertilize it ... they get floppy ... no fert.. just stand at attention .. perfect little soldiers... fert them.. and you will be out there trying to cage them.. or tie them up ... too much love will only make yourself more work .... good luck ken...See Moresedum autumn joy
Comments (4)Do watch for postings about the Fall swap and come join us. I also can bring some Autumn Joy. Mine isn't the Autumn Fire, but I've been happy with it. The first plants I got were ordered from a nursery and were taller and less satisfactory, even though the name was the same. It's so easy to root, anyone who has some can give you all you want, so I wouldn't bother with ordering it....See MoreSedum: Autumn Joy
Comments (2)Since you are doing it now, they will have time to grow a little this year. By next year each will duplicate too, so you want to keep that in mind so that you won't place them too close together....See Morekatob Z6ish, NE Pa
