Have clumps of thick blue/gren-leaved sedum autumn joy succulent plants that produce reddish-pink flowers pretty much all summer long that come back bigger and better each year. looking for small cactus plants as trade(no opuntias)but will consider other offers.

I have two large plants of this and can divide into several trades. Looking for other bulbs or plants. Please let me know what you have to trade, if you would like some of this plant. Thanks....

Yeah, Ken, that's what I thought -- it was a mystery -- but I think I now know what happened. This plant was hidden under ditch lilies, so I hadn't been watching it, and I think that deer got to it and ate it down to nubs without me seeing it, and it is just now coming back. When I just went out to look this morning, there was some evidence of it being nibbled again, and I could see the classic SAJ shoots. That's why it's so small and why it doesn't look like the rosettes that appear in the spring. I've been using Imustgarden Deer Repellent -- all natural, spice scent -- because deer ate all of my SAJ's last year. So far, the other plants are intact, so I think the repellent is working. Anyone else have experience with this product? Many thanks for the replies :-) Janet

If you are pulling up roots then you are deminishing that plant. Every Spring I cut five or six stems from the back side of my plant where it would not be visible when they are about 5 in tall. Then scratch a spot in the garden or a flower pot and place them there and water. They root very easily. I must have done that over 30 times and given away a healthy plant every year.
