arum maculatum

I've got loads of arum maculatum if any one wants some tubers. Both the variegated and the plain types.

don't know if anyone will really want one of these but i have loads so i would be willing to trade for something (have a look at my trade list)

I purchased one (Reasonably difficult to obtain here) and it appears to have failed. I'm not sure how one arranges shipping/currency exchange/etcetera, but I may have a thing or two you would enjoy. I have been told that many in the UK consider the cuckoopint to be a weed. I find it hard to imagine. Who could disrespect such a plant!?

I will E-mail you some surplus plants of mine if you are interested.

Have just seen your arum maculatum posting of the 6 march
and would very much like to obtain some tubers. I can trade for something but i dont know what you might like. can give you an idea of what i have if you have any available.

SORRY!! I should have explained allotments have been around in this country for centuries in the form of ground rented to local peaseants by the large land owners, so however little land you had you could rent more to grow food for a percentage of your produce or services to the landowner. now they are managed by local govenment who are obliged to provide sites if more than 6 people in an area want them (this is a law from the second world war when just about evey bit of workable land was used to grow food)I have a 30' X 40' plot that costs me about $20 a year i dont know if you have anyting like this in the states?? and i know what you mean about the rain we have had the 2 dry winters and have a hosepipe ban allready and winter isnt even over the clay sounds good if you have enough shade and can get some good organic matter into the soil they do grow in quite dry conditionsbut i reallydont think they are that fussy in my back garden te keep popping up in all different positions good luck steve i do seem to have gone on a bit

sure, we like almost the exact same plants! and i live just south of London. I have just bought an alocasia calidora off ebay and i'm currently filling my tropical greenhouse(that's how i get my plants through the winter). I also wrap up some of my treeferns and bananas.

I have plenty to trade, specially looking for any amorphophallus apart from konjac, strange musa/ensete, alocasias (nice big ones) colocasias, xanthosomas and anything with huge leaves that grows tall!

hey steve, isn't it funny how one persons weed can be anothers collectors item!

i had a look at your trde list and i have loads of succulents. In fact, i have a whole greenhouse devoted to them, my biggest aeonium is reaching 3 feet. I would love some of your bananas or amorphophallus, what kind of succulents do you have??
