May I ask a OT,question please?

Do any of you know if Yahoo is down? I can not access my mail, I was on all day with the help center,and they think the problem is with yahoo.

Sorry, I do not know who else to ask,and I would like to get into my mail.

Please forgive me for posting this here,, but I do hope one of you will know.

Carol, I got in after my second try. Don't use their mail but think the sign in is the same for groups. The first time I tried to sign in, I got a try again later, tried right away again, and got in, at least to my groups, but the mail is probably on a different server(s).

Earlier I got my freecycle digest which originates from there. Maybe they are having intermittent problems.

HMMM... I've been checking my yahoo mail all day. I don't know what could be wrong... sorry. Are you having trouble with anything else?

I understand it now. One reason: producers want us to use more so we will need to buy more, correct? Another reason: use half the strength so we can use it more regularly, correct? I might very well use half the strength, though, because I don't have a lot of $$ for fertilizers but I do have a lot of time for them. Gee, it works both ways for me, really. Many thanks. Xuan

Hey Carol If you want seeds - just ask! I'm sure there are lots of people around here that would send them to you for free (or posteage) so you can learn. We all want you to have fun with this! I can probably send you some - let me see what the deer have left me, the stupid hooved devils denuded a bunch of my plants last night :-( As far as growing instructions, there are as many ways to start them as there are hosta growers. Truth be known, tse seeds have sprouts in them that WANT to grow. We just need to provide an opportunity for them. I am attachgin a link to Bob Axemears site - great info on growing hosta seeds here. I can't thank you enough for all of the replies. It looks like dark wins, which was my husband's choice. After reading several of the posts indicating the light trim doesn't look finished, I have to say I finally "got it". Several of you suggested I paint the front door dark as well. I know you can't see it in the picture, but it actually is the same color as the dark trim. Magnaverde, your post made me laugh. When we were building the house, I had terrible anxiety about the garage, but it was my husband's dream and is now his "man cave". Luckily, we live on 25 acres at the end of a private, dead-end road and the house is set back far from the road. We've also placed several pine trees in strategic locations to try to mask the doors. So, when someone comes to our home, the garage doesn't smack them in the face until they are parked in front of it. :) Here are some pictures showing the the house from a different aspect. hi and thx for the compliments! 1- no issues with the screws -- at least nothing the installers mentioned. :) 2- lol,i honestly didn;t know there were aluminum pulls!i i chose the ss because ss was my "accent color" (sink, microwave, hood,etc) and i wanted to match tones.i'd looked at brushed chrome, satin nickel and ss at expo (no lee valley obviously) and they all had a slightly different tone. iirc, the chrome was bluer and the nickel browner. 3-my largest drawer is only 24". you can see in this picture. while the drawer could "take" a wider pull (see close up),i like the symmetry of the same pull size on each side of the range. so, i guess it depends on your layout. Good luck with your choices! Who knew little pulls create so many decisions, right???

Anywho, I think it is possible for just some Yahoo customers to have problems and not all. I have found that to be true occasionally with Hotmail.

You might also stop by The Computer Help Forum and see if anyone is having problems or has heard of others having trouble. Some of those folks frequent a lot of computer forums so they may have heard of something.

If it persists, you might call your isp, can't very well call yahoo but may have contact info. Sometimes it's the path where a relay server is not functioning properly where it will be normal for others in a different part of the country/world. Just a guess.

What is your browser, and do you use a bookmark on the favorites's list? Mine works like that, IE.

Friday I had fits now and then, getting on the internet, getting booted, not being able to get on etc ... today is much better. Every now and then this happens ... I am better that it is my server - cable but fickle!
I will be posting with questions so watch out!

Now you said a mouth full. hmmm...Carol, You can access Internet Explorer, just not Yahoo mail and some other sites, right? If you look in the upper left hand corner, it should say Windows Internet Explorer, unless you are playing on the new Firefox browser you downloaded today.

Carol has entertained us over at Computer Help and I had a really nice visit with her via phone. We didn't get much fixed, but found out her email was accessible from another computer. We are going to play at it again this eve, trying to use remote access, a new wrinkle with both of us. I'm looking forward to more fun with Carol and hopefully can get her all fixed up.
