Try as I might, I couldn't keep one bin empty . . .

I know it's best to keep one bin empty for turning. It started when I had one and bought the second one. Now I have 4, and three are almost always full. Now I've got one full of finished black gold, one almost done, and one pretty new. The empty one was going to be the receptacle next week. Well . . .

We decided to clean the chicken coop today, and I just couldn't let all that perfect mix of chicken poop, shavings, and straw (as well as all the leftover lawn clippings and other good stuff we give the girls as treats) go to waste, so #4 is now full! Anyone else suffer from this?

It's not actually so bad, pretty soon I'll have someplace to put the done stuff--once I get the time to clear out the harvest from the veggie plot. Or maybe I'll just spread it on the lawn.
