Mag. Brackens Brwn Beauty vs Edith Bogue

I have a planted a row of magnolia Brackens Brown Beauty that I bought as two year old grafted plants. Now in the third year in my garden it is extremely clear that three of those are not BBB but the best I can identify is Edith Bogue.
I like the look of BBB and I would have liked the look of an entire row of the same trees so these EB having crept in is bit of a problem. The main problem is, however, that I have read that BBB leafs out from the very bottom of the trunk whereas EB when mature will have a trunk showing. Is this description of the respective habits true at all? I have never seen these two trees as adults in person. Leafing from the bottom is important for where I have situated the trees.
If EB does lose leaves from the bottom then I should remove them now and find some more BBB.
Please help me make this decision!
