Okay, I'll admit peppers are the ONE thing that I still sow indoors, LOL, but I know there are plenty of wintersowers that grow peppers, so I thought I'd post this over here on the Wintersowing Forum.

Glad to hear that everyone is happy with what they received back! Thank you John, for sharing all the extra goodies! I am down to the LAST THREE ENVELOPES!!! I have 10 ready to mail this morning: Rollinrockell Foodeefish Elvimiller Thismembername Moonfire Nak10 MissyGA64 Trickfox Plus the last couple packages from THP folks. It is such a relief to be winding down the swap. I love being able to fulfill wishes! Makes me feel a bit like Santa Claus, LOL, but I am ready to focus on getting the garden ready for planting. Well, as soon as it warms up a bit. Right now, it's 16 degrees outside. It's supposed to reach 50 by the weekend though. Come on spring!!! If you folks have not participated in a round-robin swap before, it is a great way of expanding your seed collection for only the price of a few seeds and some postage. I highly encourage them, and Bonnie runs a great one. Put it on your list for next year.

Has anyone grown 'Carlo Putini'? There is very little info on the web, but my order from Sandhill came through big time, and I have 50-odd seedlings up. I have about 4x seedlings than room, so I need to be ruthless here. Its supposed to be a 'cayenne-like' hot pepper, but I already have 50-odd Hungarian Carrot peppers, which are pretty darn hot as well. And then I have a whole bunch of jalapenos. I don't need 200 plants to make salsa and hot sauce, so I need to whittle this down ........ Jay, I see that your guy sells Guajillo seed. I can't grow them here, but that is one great pepper when it comes to making pinto beans.

Paperfinch, at the bottom of my original post, you should see a bright blue link. If you click on that, it should take you to the sign up thread on the Round Robin forum. Once you are there, you should see an explanation of how the swap works. Just post there if you are interested, and I will email you my address.
