My first compost pile thus far

I set up my first compost pile about 2 months ago. It is 3x3x3 and made out of fencing I bought at Home Depot. Some of you might recall the {{gwi:311277}} I posted when I first set it up. Anyway, I am not sure how long it is supposed to take to get compost, but 2 months in, I seem to have a nice thing going. I wouldn't say that it is "ready" yet, but there seems to be a lot of change thus far. None of the paper and hardly any leaves are recognizable anymore. A lot of the grass is super dried up and crumbly. I haven't turned it much, rather I skewered it with PVC pipes that had holes drilled in them. Every week I move them around a bit to let some air down into the middle of the pile. So far, so good.

For those more experienced than me, how long does it generally take to turn a 3x3x3 pile into finished compost?
