Yes, an East window will be ok, but you will not get the kind of growth that an West or South window can proivde.. If you are ok with a healthy green tree with very few buds, fruit, and elongated growth until next spring, then it will be ok.. if you want phenominal growth, then adding lights is a must. Mike

Whenever the fenestration faces more than one direction you automatically have more range for paint colors. Which is a good thing. However, I think the cabinets are the primary concern, not the inherent quality of light. I would use the Ikea high gloss white laminate to direct the white wall color. Match it the best you can. I would choose a top tier matte finish to provide some level of contrast to the cabinets. So, it will be like the same color of white on cabs and walls but two different gloss levels for some interest.

First - try to pick them up as soon as the mailman brings them. Sitting on the curb is not good - especially with another cold blast coming. Second - do nor repot immediately.
