Hi Mike, I know its not Azalea...but I've grown a "Hydrangea" in a container in Al's gritty mix. It is blooming for the very first time for me this year. My DD gave it to me in a 4" pot. Maybe you can consider this one also? Enjoy!

I used to be so bad about not labeling seeds when I snatched them, because at the time I was sure I would remember for awhile. This past winter I sowed a few of those mysteries and I will have to post a photo or two, myself! I got some cute yellow flowers, I hope they're perennial!

When I was a kid in the late 1950s I found a sprouting seed in a grapefruit I was eating. I planted it in the back yard, where it was about 12" tall when we moved a few years later, and I transplanted it at the new home in the patio planter. It was about 6' tall and had never bloomed when a windstorm caused the main trunk to break, but it held on at one side of the bark. I taped it up and the next year it healed and started to bloom and produce. Sometimes trees respond to severe stress by reproducing. I moved out at age 19, and whenever I went back to visit I was amazed at how well that thing was doing. Eventually it was all over an arbor above the patio with literally hundreds of large grapefruit hanging from it. That was in the East Bay Area (Lafayette, CA).

So sorry to hear about your misfortune, Jenny. There is actually a much longer thread about this site. It is disreputable and most likely illegal in every sense: either a phishing scam, CC skimmer, or identity theft site. I don't want to sound alarmist, but I would seriously consider having your bank disable the card you used and issue another one for the account with a new number, and the same for a CC if you used credit rather than debit. Tell your bank or credit card company that you fear your card has been compromised. Reference this thread and the one I'll give a link for below. If you have any automatic payments set up with that card, you'll have to go to each account and change your debit/CC info before your next payment is due. Also don't forget to change the number on any site where you store your payment info for quick checkout, like Amazon, etc. Again, so sorry. Best of luck. antiqueroses.com scam site John
