Sounds like heat and/or lack of water. If you've been having a heat wave, new plants can shock fairly easily. Lack of water will show up as wilted buds then dead leaves.

In many areas, fertilizers are generally withheld until the rose has had one bloom cycle. Fertilizer burn can also account for brown leaves.

Your problem is not the roses or where you bought them. I think you fertilized too soon, possibly planted them wrong and put them into shock, and as suggested above perhaps heat and water. The only fertilizer to use when planting or right afterwards is aged manure or a slow release organic mix. Unless you have heavy clay soil, you can't water too much. Water means a deep soak, not a two minute sprinkle.

If you're using most chemical fertilizers, the best rule of thumb is probably to wait until after you have deadheaded the first flush of bloom.

Having successfully KILLED A ROSE with early fertilization, MY rule of thumb is that even that fertilization should be very light.
When you plant a rose, you're in for the long haul. You hope to enjoy it for years and years.
Give it a chance to peacefully grow feeder roots before you blast it with fertilizer.

i live in Canada Ottawa we did have a heat wave for about 1 week i uploaded a picture of the fertilizer you could see it if you go to the link again...ok so what do i do now? water water and more water? hopefully wash out the fertilizer

the directions of the fertilizer says "Apply at time of planting or early spring" I applied at time of planting

If you have to use a fertilizer at planting, the slow re lease type you used is a good one. But, heat causes faster release of the nutrients.
If you want to follow the instructions on the pkg of fertilizer, go for it. All we can do is give advice based on our experience. We're not trying to sell or have you use fertilizer.
Your roses may grow out of it when the weather improves. Right now you're stuck with what you have.

i tried picking out some of the fertilizer by hand then i cleared soil from the base of each plant because thats where i put most of the fertilizer i posted pictures follow link any advice would be appreciated thanks

I personally do not even fertilize our first year roses at all. Note: (we have clay based soil that holds nutrients well.)

Watering heavily will wash some of the excess salts from the soil. If you can pick up or spread around some of the excess first, I would recommend that.

Your problem may have been applying a dose intended for a square yard to a square foot. ( It's 9 times more concentrated then.)
