Somewhat off topic but my seeds won't sprout!

hi, This post is a little bit off topic butI'm not sure were I can post it. 2 weeks ago I planted some seeds inside in jiffy strip peat pots. I used the same potting mix I have always used and mix from that bag has yeilded great results with plastic containers. The seeds I planted were coral bell firefly Chelone turtlehead purple some red poppy and peas that had been soaked first in water. as of today none have germinated I have kept them moist but I don't think to moist since the peat pots are always starting to dry out. I also planted some broccoli a few days later in plasic containers and they have yet to sprout with the peas and the broccoli I have plenty more seeds but espesially with the coral bells and chelone I only have a few left. The coral bells need light to germinate so they were just placed on top ofthe soil and watered in and the chelone was planted at the depth of the seeds shortest part.

I hope you can help
