I need help with my Saucer magnolia

aggierose

On March 5, 2011 I planted a saucer magnolia in memory of my daughter who passed away at 23 months old. It is now struggling. When it was planted, it had lots of flowers on it and it was starting to leaf out. Since it was planted, no new leaves have grown on it, and the leaves that had already started growing haven't gotten any larger at all, but they are still green. I have no idea what is wrong or how to get it to start putting out new leaves. Could it be in shock? If so, what can I do to fix it? I have been watering it with superthrive the last 2 weeks but haven't seen any improvement yet. I desperately want to keep this tree alive since it was for my little girl so any advice is appreciated.
